OUR VISION

"Our vision is to create a society where all women and youth have access to education and resources that will help them reach their full potential. These resources include social skills, emotional intelligence support, strong decision-making abilities, financial stability, and a sense of health awareness.

We are committed to empowering youth with leadership skills, inspiring women and youth to set and achieve their goals, and providing assistance to families in emergency situations.

We also aim to teach the skills needed to succeed in the business world. We believe in the principle of "hand up" rather than "hand out," which fosters a sense of ownership and investment in one's own success.

Ultimately, our goal is to create a more equitable and just society for all."

What is involved in being a board member?

Attend monthly board meetings
Serve as a member of a committee
Board member commitment is a two year term with a maximum of three terms

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

WIW provides for families in need by helping with food, eviction notices, utilities, rent and more.

Mentoring Empowerment Classes

We provide programs for girls, workshops for families, and professional development training from teachers, guidance counselors, and non-profit staff.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION

WIW Financial Education Initiative seeks to empower all women and girls to navigate the financial system with confidence, make informed and reasoned financial decisions.

Bible Literacy

We provide biblical studies for women and girls.

JOB READINESS

We help design programs that will improve your skills in preparing for your career through job readiness training classes.

Mental Health

Our goal is to empower women and girls to know that they have a voice. Their voice can make a notable difference in our homes, schools, communities, and churches.
